My client is a well established automotive business based in Bromley. They are currently looking to take on an experienced Accounts Assistant / Office Administrator to support with their accounts and administration duties. You will be a diligent and hard-working person who will be responsible for the following:
*Looking after all accounts duties such as VAT returns, monthly EC sales returns, processing invoices, payroll / wages, producing statements, bank reconciliations, purchase orders, credit control, book keeping and age analysis
*Placing stock orders
*Processing payments
*Dealing with correspondence from suppliers and customers
*Dealing with administration duties such as monitoring and sending emails, drawing up reports, exporting documents into Excel, producing statements and various other ad hoc responsibilities
*Maintaining filing systems
*Answering the telephone and assisting with any queries and filtering calls as appropriate
The ideal person for this role will be an experienced Accounts professional who has experience in all aspects of accounting and book keeping. You will possess good administration skills and will be a confident user of Excel. You will be a dedicated individual, have a self-sufficient attitude and be a strong communicator. On offer in return for your hard work is a salary of £18,000 plus 20 days holiday and bank holidays. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday with between 32-36 hours worked.
